Networks and WWW

Network:

System of lines, wires, etc., that are connected to each other; a system of computers and other devices (such as printers) that are connected to each other.

Types:

LAN (Local Area Network)
MAN (Metropolitan Area Network)
WAN (Wide Area Network)


WWW (World Wide Web):
Net of online content that is formatted in HTML accessed via HTTP.
Refers to all the interlinked HTML pages that can be accessed by internet.
